The Professionally Qualified Person (PQP) CSCS card certifies that the holder is a qualified member of an approved professional body, and has the skills and knowledge required to work on a construction site without special supervision, even if they are not typically based on the site.
If you are a member in good standing of one of the approved bodies, such as the ICE, CIOB or one of several others, holding a PQP card marks you as a certified professional in your field.
This card is only available if you are a member of one of the CSCS approved professional bodies. You will have to provide a copy a valid professional membership certificate or card when applying. If you do not have a card or certificate, you must be vetted as a competence assessed member via letter or email from the approved professional body.
All attendees must have passed the Managers and Professionals CITB Health & Safety Test before seeking this certification.
This card is valid for five years and can only be renewed if your professional membership has been renewed.
The PQP card is the highest level of CSCS certification, but we do offer several types of courses that will help managers understand and apply safety regulations and standards.
