This entry-level card is ideal for those that are brand new to labourer roles within construction industry, or those that unsure whether this is the career path they would like to take. The provisional card will help you demonstrate that you have the health & safety knowledge required to fulfill basic of tasks on site. It also proves that you are serious about pursuing a career within the sector.

The provisional card will expire after six months and it cannot be extended or renewed.
Once this card has expired a natural path to follow is to apply for the Green Labourer CSCS Card. To get the Green CSCS Card you will need to take one of the following routes:
If you have attained an NVQ level 2 qualification and passed the Health & Safety Test for operatives, you may also be eligible for a Blue CSCS card.
