Site safety awareness has never been more important to employers operating within the construction industry. That’s why we’re offering a course that teaches you how to establish a safe working environment on site. The Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) course is designed to help you stay up to date with the industry’s rules and regulations around working safely on a construction site.
This five-day course will offer you the opportunity to learn how to work and manage people on site with confidence. Upon completion, you will have acquired the necessary knowledge and skills you need to ensure that the site your team is working on is safe for all.
The course is taught by an experienced construction professional. You will be assessed on your contribution to classroom discussions and group work, plus your performance in individual or group presentations. You must also complete a multiple-choice test at the end of the course.
This course is suitable for project managers and supervisors, or those that are in training for these roles.
You will receive a CITB Site Safety Plus certificate. This is valid for five years before which you can complete a 2 day SMSTS Refresher course.
