Emergency First Aid at Work L2

What is the course?

The HABC Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid at Work (QCF) is a single day course that replaces the older EFAW course. It is intended to provide first aiders in low risk work environments with the skills they need to treat individual injured people.

How is the course taught and assessed?

There will be a single unit of classroom instruction. You will be assessed based on your participation and understanding throughout the course through spoken or written questions and a practical demonstration.

What qualification will I receive?

Upon completing this course, you will receive a Level 2 Award in Emergency First Aid Certificate, valid for three years.

What can I do next?

Once you are certified in HABC Level 2 Emergency First Aid, you may wish to move on to a Level 2 Award in Risk Assessment or a Level 2 Award in Health and Safety, or a Level 3 Certification in Emergency First Aid.

Entry requirements

Those who take this course should have fluency in written and spoken English and basic numeracy skills. They must be at least 16 years of age.
