Advanced SITS

What is the course?

The two day Advanced Scaffolding Inspection Training Scheme (SITS) course is intended only for managers, supervisors and well-experienced operatives. It builds on the skills learned in the SITS (Basic) course, and on the learner’s own practical experience.

Course content

How is the course taught and assessed?

The Advanced SITS course combines classroom tutorial experience and practical exercises over two days.

You will take both practical and written tests, and your performance on both will contribute to your overall evaluation.

What qualification will I receive?

Those students who successfully complete this course will earn their CISRS Advanced Scaffolding Inspection Training Scheme (Advanced SITS) certificate.

What can I do next?

After qualifying for your Advanced SITS certificate, you can go on to apply for a CISRS Advanced Scaffold Inspection Card within 5 years of the course date.

Entry requirements

In order to take this class, you must have your SITS (Basic) certification and either have a CISRS Advanced Scaffolder card or have held a CISRS Advanced Card for 2 years or more.

You must also have either passed your CITB HS&E test no more than two years ago or hold at least one of these certifications:
